It takes a lot to survive in a primordial world. Gron is a lot. He speaks so rarely most of his pack members think him mute. A stoic protector who always steps in to protect the young. And he just continued to grow... and grow... and grow, until he became the largest gastonia in the pack. At which point the rest of the pack just started to follow him around as the undeclared leader.
